Brooklyn Shaken & Stirred celebrates Brooklyn's cocktail scene, artisanal spirits, local beer and wines. Participants include Fort Defiance, Pok Pok, Allswell, Dressler, Donna, Brooklyn Gin, Brooklyn Republic Vodka, Brooklyn Oenology, Q Drinks, Van Brunt Stillhouse, Sixpoint Brewery and more.
Tasting Brooklyn is a walk-around food and wine tasting event celebrating the diversity of Brooklyn's food scene. Brooklyn Exposed, the borough’s leading art, dining and entertainment blog, organizes this annual event with proceeds benefiting The Brooklyn Food Coalition. 2012 participants included
Maison Premiere, The Meatball Shop, Egg, Wild Rise, Littleneck, Fort Reno, Stone Park Cafe, The Saint Austere, Kiwiana, Loreley Williamsburg and more.

The Joy of Sake
The largest
sake tasting outside Japan, featuring over 300 sakes and 15 top
New York restaurants. Each year, the event showcases award-winning
sakes from the annual North American Sake Appraisal in Hawaii and
celebrates the different styles of sake, with entries from Japan
and the US. Top NYC restaurants participate each year, serving appetizers

Stone Barns, Bouley, Danube, Devi, Felidia, Kittichai, Public, 66,

Benefiting Windows of Hope in 2001 and Citymeals-on-Wheels
in 2002, this international auction via satellite New York-Los Angeles-Italy
attracted top chefs and high-profile guests such as Ivana Trump,
Richard Johnson, Adam Tihany, Richard Meier, Jean-Georges Vongerichten,
and Daniel Boulud.
